Fuel pipe / pump

Bericht door Saffles »

Hi,

I need to disconnect the fuel pipes from the fuel tank so that i can remove the pump and empty the tank (the fuel has gone bad - very old).

How can i remove the fuel pipe connector?

Thanks

Yeah I tried that.. lol. Couldn't find anything..

Anyway I managed to get them off - I cut up a plastic bottle and used that inside the connector!

When putting the pump back in, it seemed a bit too tall due to the spring and vertical part that goes up and down. Only thing I could do was push down on it. Was that correct?
